Express Entry

Since January 2015, CIC accepts Expression of Interest on the part of people wanting to immigrate to Canada who qualify under the Federal Skilled Worker, Skilled Trades, Canadian Experience Class.

A job offer is not needed but it is preferable as it gives an extra 600 points. A nomination from a province also gives an extra 600 points.

On a monthly basis, CIC invites the Candidates with the highest scores to permanent residency.
