I’m Daniel Briere, the proud owner of Briere Immigration Services Ltd.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I started my career in human resource management, and over time, I encountered many immigration scenarios. As I assisted colleagues, the immigration field began to intrigue me, and I found myself building knowledge of the specialty subject.

I also started to develop my skills by taking courses and passing the exams, as I’m committed to continuous learning. Eventually, after working for many years in HR, I decided to follow my newfound passion by launching an immigration law practice in 2015.

Over the past five years, I’ve noticed that while it took some time to build up my reputation, the economy was in a strong position when I first began,

However, with the current global pandemic, the immigration landscape has changed somewhat, and the processing delays make it challenging to provide advice regarding how long a client must wait for a response. Despite the current situation, I remain resolute.

My philosophy is that clients need to be able to reach me, and secondly, the client should not be surprised, so I always keep them aware of the progress. Finally, honesty is the best policy when it comes to their file.

I work with integrity, and as an individual, I feel what sets me apart from the others is that I hold myself accountable. I also attribute my success to always believing in what I do, and doing what I say I will.

My persistence has enabled me to help many people reach their Canadian immigration dream. Even after they faced refusal, I was able to change the situation in many cases, and they are now permanent residents.

I once represented a couple who had a refusal for their spousal sponsorship. The husband was from Sierra Leone and his wife (sponsor), was originally from Sierra Leone, but now a Canadian Citizen. We took the Government to court and won the appeal, which was a proud moment.

Consequently, whenever I get approval from IRCC and communicate the decision to the client over the phone, I get excited by their joy.

When I’m not assisting clients with their files, I love golfing, but I need to improve my handicap. I also believe in equality, and support organizations that promote harmony between races, sexes, sexual orientation, and religions.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.

If you or someone you know could benefit from my expertise as an immigration consultant in Calgary, AB, I invite you to get in touch. Please visit my website at www.briereimmigration.com.

Sincerely,

Daniel
